The governing body has a general responsibility for managing the school effectively. They meet on many occasions during the school year and are particularly responsible for helping to decide on the school's curriculum, to help with the appointment of staff, to assist in setting standards of behaviour, to oversee the spending of the school budget and to support the Headteacher and staff.
