At present there are thirteen classes in Ivydale. These consist of a nursery and two reception classes in Foundation Stage; two Year 1 and two Year 2 classes in Key Stage 1; two Year 3 and one Year 4 classes in lower Key Stage 2 and a Year 5, Year 6 and mixed Year 5/6 class in upper Key Stage 2.

Each class has a Teacher's Assistant who works alongside the teacher. We also have two Learning Mentors and a number of SEN support staff who provide 1-2-1 assistance in class with specific children.
